1. Collect Student Details Checking connection...
No internet is needed to collect details. The easiest option is to ask the student for their name and phone number.
Optional: Scan a Contact QR
Contact-card and direct-number QRs can fill details. A WhatsApp profile QR cannot reveal the phone number.
📷
Point the camera at a contact QR code
QR scanning is optional. A WhatsApp profile QR does not contain the person's phone number.
2. Saved Students

Saved only in this browser. It is not added to your personal phone contacts or uploaded online. Use Export as a backup.

Show the information inside this QR
💬This is a WhatsApp profile QR. WhatsApp did not put the phone number inside it. Ask the student for their number below, or save the profile link.
A WhatsApp profile QR alone cannot reveal the number.
📱 Show WhatsApp Group QR
Students can scan this from your screen. Choose the university, then show the QR. The group link and QR remain available offline after they are saved.
Add this group's WhatsApp invitation link or scan its existing QR code.
WhatsApp group > group name > Invite via link.
Ask the student to open their phone camera or WhatsApp QR scanner and point it at this code.
Anyone who receives this QR may be able to request access. If it is shared accidentally, reset the invite link inside WhatsApp.
🔗 Set Up Group Invites
The Aston and BCU group links are already built in. You only need to change them if a group link is reset in WhatsApp. WhatsApp does not let a website add people to a group, so this screen prepares a private invitation for each student to tap.
Choose students from the saved list first.
In WhatsApp, open the group, tap its name, then choose Invite via link.
Only people who receive this link can request to join.
The app replaces {name}, {group} and {link} for each student.

👥 Add Students to the Group
Choose students first.
WhatsApp does not let any website or link add a person to a group on its own. Only you, as a group admin inside WhatsApp, can add people directly. These steps get you to that screen with every selected student ready to tick in one go.
🧪 Check this phone
If something is not working, run this and send the result. It says what this exact phone supports.

📤 Send My List
Your list is ready below.
Send this to the organiser. They paste it into their copy of the app and everyone's students merge together.
Your students stay saved on this phone too. Sending the list does not delete anything.
📥 Add a Collector's List
Copy the whole message a collector sent you, paste it below, and tap Merge. Duplicates are skipped automatically.
